How to use CustodyBook

  1. Settings: set your name, the co-parent label and the expense split (their share %).
  2. Log each custody day, exchange and expense THE DAY it happens — dated entries carry more weight.
  3. For expenses enter the exact amount and who paid — the app computes who owes whom.
  4. Summary tab: the month net, a court-style PDF, and "Copy summary as text" for WhatsApp.
  5. Everything stays on YOUR phone: no accounts, no messaging, no monthly fee.

Does the other parent see anything?

No. This is YOUR one-sided record. Nothing is shared unless you export it.

Is the PDF legally binding?

It is a factual, dated record designed to be readable in court, but it is not legal advice.
