The short version: your content stays on your phone. Our apps have no accounts and no servers of ours. What you write, track, or log never leaves your device — the only thing that ever reaches a server is a purchase, if you choose to make one.
Across all of these apps, the answer is almost nothing. We want to be exact:
Everything you enter (pantry items, tasks, notes, custody days, pool tests, study schedules, moods, photos of receipts, and so on) is stored locally on your phone in the app's own database. We have no account system and no backend, so we never receive, see, or store it. Deleting the app, or using the in-app “Delete all my data”, removes it permanently.
If an app offers a one-time purchase to unlock it and you choose to buy, the payment is processed by Google Play Billing (or the Apple App Store on iOS) together with RevenueCat, which we use to manage purchases and let you restore them on a new device. For that purpose only, RevenueCat may process your purchase history and an anonymous purchase/device identifier. We never see or store your card number — the store handles payment. This data is used solely to deliver and restore your purchase; it is not sold and not used for advertising.
Some apps ask for a permission to do their job. Each is used locally on your device and nothing is uploaded:
ChoreJar is designed for families to use together on a parent's device; it has no accounts, no ads, and collects no personal information from anyone, including children. Our other apps are general-audience and not directed at children.
Because your content lives only on your device, you are always in control of it. You can export a copy from within most apps, and you can erase everything at any time with “Delete all my data” or by uninstalling. To manage or request a refund on a purchase, use your Google Play or Apple account.
If we add a feature that changes what data is involved — for example, turning on optional cloud backup in the future — we will update this page and the app store data disclosures before that feature ships.
